The Social Media event of the year is here and it's on fire!Developer Days and Industry Day were a complete success gathering different speakers, government officials, CEOs, Social Media strategists, and developers from around the globe.

ArabNet Digital Summit took place at Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace and Hilton Habtoor Grand.

Three days already passed but the excitement and interactions are still on fire! Think Media Labs was invited to speak at the event. Ayman Itani delivered a talk about Social Media in Higher Education

Itani started his session by emphasizing how much Social Media has penetrated our lives. He continued to elaborate how using Social Media in classrooms is becoming more important every day in order to keep students hooked and the course up to date.

He shed light on the LAU Social Class that he teaches at the Lebanese American University in Beirut, the first course about Social Media ever taught in universities in Lebanon and the Middle East. Itanis successful experience in LAU Social class signpost how universities should adopt this scheme in their classrooms.
